This website will focus on the aeroSKIFF™ (depicted on the left) and her smaller sister ships (yet to be named). These boats are prototypes being developed for production by a large sailboat company. They are revolutionary in many ways and their "secrets" will gradually be explained and shown on this website. aeroSKIFF™
hull development photos are HERE! One of the very first sailing hydrofoils was
the Monitor by Baker Mfg. ; it was a monohull with ladder like foils on
each side and foils on the rudder. It was ingeniously designed to develop
its own righting moment while on foils by varying the angle of incidence
of the foils. It was, we think, not only one of the first hydrofoils but
the first monoFOILER™. |

| monoFOILERs™, in general, will not be as fast as multihull
foilers, but they may offer access of hydrofoil sailing to a wider range
of people than currently have had the pleasure to sail fast and quietly
